A Report on Ruby Jubilee celebrations on completion of 40 years of formation of South Central Railway held at Railway Colony, Moula-ali.

   
       
 

1. As a part of Ruby Jubilee celebrations of S.C Railway being held from 8th to 18th October, 2006, sports events for children of Railway colony, Moula-ali have been conducted by the Railway Institute on 10th and 11th October, 2006 and Tree plantation program took place in Railway colony, MLY. DRM/HYB, Sr.DPO/HYB, Sr.MS/MLY and other Divisional Officers and supervisors of various Branches of HYB Division have participated in the Tree plantation program and planted saplings at various places in the colony in commemoration of the Ruby Jubilee celebrations

                                                                                                                                                             Independence Day and Republic Day celebrations:

(a) 60th Independence Day was celebrated on 15th August, 2006, at the premises of Railway Institute, Moula-ali. Dr.N Ramesh, Sr.MS/MLY and the then Chariman of the committee unfurled the National Flag and delivered his valuable message to the members/residents. The following sports events were conducted.

1. Running race for boys and girls
2. Lemon and spoon for boys and girs.
3. Musical chair for children and ladies.
4. Carroms.
5. Table Tennis,
6. Shuttle badminton
7. Chess
8. Essay competitions.

Cultural programs, singing and dance competitions were held in the evening of 15-8-2007 and the then Chairman of our Institute, Dr.N.Ramesh and the then Secretary Shri V V S Naidu. ASI/RPF have distributed the prizes to 150 participants

(b) Republic Day celebrations were held on 26th January, 2007. The National flag was hoisted by Shri M Y Kondalu, Sr.DEN/Co-Ord/HYB, Chief Guest on the occasion. He gave his valuable message to the members. Besides him, the other Divisional Officers have also participated in the programme. The Office bearers/committee members/residents have also participated in the programme. The following sports events were conducted:

• Shuttle Badminton Tournaments for Girls/Boys
• Volley Ball Tournaments for Girls/Boys
• Table Tennis Tournaments for Girls/Boys
• Chess Tournaments for Girls/Boys
• Carroms Tournaments for Girls/Boys
• Lemon Spoon Tournaments for Girls/Boys
• Running Race Tournaments for Girls/Boys
• Musical Chairs for Ladies and Girls

In the evening, apart from cultural programmes of the children of our Institute/colony, a Kuchipudi Dance was performed by the students of LASYASALA, Tarnaka.

Smt. N.Aruna, Member/SCRWWO has participated as a Chief Guest and distributed prizes to 130 winners/runners taken part in various sports/cultural events.


(c ) 61st Independence Day was celebrated on 15th August, 2007, at the
premise of RI/MLY. Shri G Sayanna, MLA unfurled the National flag
followed by a national salute and gave his message to the participants. The following sports events were conducted:

• Shuttle Badminton Tournaments for Girls/Boys
• Volley Ball Tournaments for Girls/Boys
• Table Tennis Tournaments for Girls/Boys
• Chess Tournaments for Girls/Boys
• Carroms Tournaments for Girls/Boys
• Lemon Spoon Tournaments for Girls/Boys
• Running Race Tournaments for Girls/Boys
• Musical Chairs for Ladies and Girls
• Cricket for Boys/girls.

Cultural programmes and prize distribution programme was held in the evening. Dr.N.Karunakar, Sr.MS/MLY & Chairman. Sri Ch.Sanakara Rao General Secretary/SCRMU, Shri Madhusudhan Rao ADME/Dsl.Shed have participated as Chief Guest/Guests of Honor and distributed prizes for 120 winners/runners participated in various sports/cultural activities. With the assistance of Shri S Srinivasa Rao, Sr.Clerk/Sr.DEN/O/NED and EC member a Telugu poetic drama “ Baktha Chintamani “ was staged and enjoyed by the members/participants.
Ruby Jubilee Celebrations:

As a part of the “ Ruby Jubilee celebrations “on completion of 40 years of S.C Railway” as directed by Divisional Authorities of the Railway Administration, the following events for children of Railway Institute, Moula-ali and residents of Moula-ali were conducted on 10th and 11th of October,2006 at the Institute premises in the following events:

Shri Rajiv Vishnoi, DRM/HYB who was the Chief Guest for the programme has distributed prizes for the winners and runner-ups in the above events. DRM/HYB while congratulating the children for taking active part in the sports events announced a cash award of Rs.3000/- for organizing Ruby Jubilee Celebrations and he explained the importance of Ruby Jubilee Celebrations being held through out the S.C Rly. He encouraged the children to take part in the sports/recreational activities. Dr.N.Ramesh, Sr.MS and the then Chairman of the Institute has presented a Power point on Dengu and other vector bond diseases to bring awareness among the children. Shri Srinivasa Rao, Sr.DPO/HYB, Shri Sridhar, Head Master, Frobel’s High School/Prashant Nagar, Shri U Sambasivudu, Vice-Chairman have attended as Guests of Honor. All the Office bearers and committee members of the Railway Institute and colony care committee members have participated in the program. Apart from 120 children, residents of Rly.colony and other supervisory officials have participated in the above program. The meeting concluded with vote of thanks by the Secretary.
